Senior AI/ML Engineer

Job Overview

AI/ML Engineer will drive AI innovation in the EdTech industry, managing the end-to-end development of machine learning pipelines, deploying models into production, and overseeing MLOps operations for AI solutions. This role involves leading AI teams, collaborating with data scientists and engineers, and driving AI adoption in business applications.

Responsibilities:

• Lead AI/ML projects from ideation to production, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and real-world applicability in EdTech.

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop and optimize machine learning models.

• Design and implement end-to-end AI solution with a strong focus on data quality, model performance, and user engagement.

• Work closely with other teams to integrate machine learning models into our AI solutions.

• Oversee MLOps practices, ensuring smooth deployment, monitoring, and model retraining to improve AI-driven learning tools.

• Research and integrate emerging AI technologies to enhance learning outcomes, such as LLM fine-tuning, reinforcement learning for adaptive learning, and RAG-based AI for intelligent search.

• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to junior AI/ML engineers, fostering an innovative and collaborative AI team.

• Ensure AI solutions align with business goals, comply with educational regulations, and maintain data privacy and security standards.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related fields.

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 1+ years in a leadership role.

• Expertise in Python, ML frameworks (NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn), and cloud/big data technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, Hadoop, Spark), and NLP libraries (NLTK, spaCy).

• Experience with NLP models, LLM fine-tuning, and AI chatbot development using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex.

• Machine Learning expertise in Object detection, OCR and/or NLP ranking, recommendations, classification algorithms.

• Experience with vector databases (Elasticsearch, Pinecone, Weaviate) and RAG-based AI solutions.

• Strong knowledge of MLOps, including CI/CD for ML models, model monitoring, and retraining strategies.

• Experience deploying ML models in production environments and working with cloud-based AI solutions.

• Proficiency in AI chatbot development using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or related frameworks.

• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the EdTech industry, developing AI-powered educational tools or adaptive learning platforms.

• Familiarity with Thai NLP and experience with PyThaiNLP for language-specific applications.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-based AI/ML services.

• Strong understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI practices in education.
